Rave: The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky has lately become a very popular book and let me be one of the first to say that it’s a book that can’t be missed.

Although the book does mention drugs, sex, and other things, it definitely shows the true meaning of friendship and the hardships that the main character, Charlie, goes through in his first year of high school. Charle is writing letters fo an anonymous source about his high school days. Charlie goes from mourning the death of his aunt to making friends that he does everything with. From the tunnel to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Chrlie is making new happy memories. Even though sometimes the pain he feels takes control he manages to get the help he needs and fix his life.
